# Slowave integrations: memory for every AI coding agent

> Connect Slowave to Claude Code, Copilot CLI, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Windsurf, Cline and Claude Desktop. All agents share one local memory.

Slowave connects to the coding agents you already use. Every agent you connect reads and writes the same local memory.

One command sets up every supported agent it finds:

```bash theme={null}
pipx install slowave
slowave setup --dry-run
slowave setup
```

To set up a single agent, add `--client` with its name. Choose an agent below for its guide.

## Supported agents

>
> Persistent local memory for project decisions, constraints and procedures.

> [card] [Copilot CLI](https://slowave.ai/integrations/copilot-cli.md)
>
> Memory you can inspect across local GitHub Copilot CLI sessions.

> [card] [Codex](https://slowave.ai/integrations/codex.md)
>
> One local memory across the Codex CLI, desktop app and IDE extension.

> [card] [Cursor](https://slowave.ai/integrations/cursor.md)
>
> Project decisions and constraints that carry across sessions.

> [card] [OpenCode](https://slowave.ai/integrations/opencode.md)
>
> Shared, inspectable memory for future coding sessions.

> [card] [Windsurf](https://slowave.ai/integrations/windsurf.md)
>
> Local memory for Windsurf Cascade, also listed as Devin Desktop.

> [card] [Cline](https://slowave.ai/integrations/cline.md)
>
> Decisions, constraints and reusable methods across coding sessions.

> [card] [Claude Desktop](https://slowave.ai/integrations/claude-desktop.md)
>
> Local memory for Claude Desktop conversations.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Copilot CLI is partly validated. It covers the local standalone `copilot` command only. Checks so far were on macOS with Copilot CLI 1.0.95. Full model-driven validation and native Windows and Linux qualification are pending.

## Setup effort at a glance

| Agent | Platforms | Setup effort |
| - | - | - |
| Claude Code | macOS, Linux, Windows | Automatic |
| Copilot CLI | Checked on macOS; Windows and Linux pending | Partly validated |
| Codex | macOS, Linux, Windows | Automatic |
| Cursor | macOS, Linux, Windows | One manual paste |
| OpenCode | macOS, Linux, Windows | Automatic |
| Windsurf | macOS, Linux, Windows | Automatic |
| Cline | macOS, Linux, Windows | Automatic |
| Claude Desktop | macOS, Linux, Windows | One manual paste |

Automatic means setup writes both the connection and the instructions. Cursor and Claude Desktop need you to paste the instructions that setup prints.

## How all agents share one memory

Slowave runs one small background service on your machine. Each agent connects to it through MCP, so they all use the same memory.

Something you teach Claude Code can help Codex or Cursor later. Memory stays on your machine, and you can browse it with `slowave dashboard`.
